Wilkes University Archives is excited to announce that thanks to Senior English Literature Major, Jessica Van Orden, the Inkwell Quarterly publications, 2006-present are now digitized and available in our Omeka repository. Jessica Van Orden is interested in pursuing a M.A. in creative writing through Wilkes University’s Maslow Creative Writing program, and a Masters of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS), after graduating in the pursuit of one day working with the Public Library sphere as a Community Outreach Coordinator. Similar to the themes and tones you will see throughout the Inkwell Quarterly Publication Series, Jess is highly interested in collaborative programming that both engages with the community while granting the community, itself, the space to develop its own interests within a shared space. After transferring to Wilkes in the Fall of 2022, Jess assumed the role of Editor-in-Chief and Layout Coordinator of the Inkwell Quarterly Publication, where the historical communal voice of the public made settling into campus all the more effortless and inviting.
