The Nesbitt School of Pharmacy instituted a program that allows a freshman student the opportunity to apply and potentially be converted to a Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat (PPGS) contract. If offered, you would enter your sophomore year as a PPGS student.
Eligible freshmen must apply by Thursday, May 25th, 2023, to be concerned to convert to a Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat.
After receiving grades at the end of the Spring 2023 semester, students must have a prerequisite and overall GPA minimum of 3.0. Additionally, you must have grades of 2.0 or higher in all prerequisite courses. If you meet this criteria, you are eligible to apply.
If you do not meet this criteria, please note you still have an opportunity to apply during your sophomore year. The academic criteria are different than in the regular application cycle, so don’t count yourself out if you do not qualify for the guaranteed seat.

To have your application processed, please answer the question “Please indicate your Bachelor’s Degree status from an accredited US institution” by selecting the option of “I will not have obtained my Bachelor’s Degree before Fall 2023 and have completed one year at Wilkes.”.
