The Degnan Ballet Center at The Wilkes University Conservatory presents “The Little Mermaid and Other Works” on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, June 2 at 2 pm at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts.
The Little Mermaid is a time-honored children’s ballet choreographed by Peter Degnan and Kristin Degnan Boonin, staged by Alison Carlsson, Sarah Polansky, Brianna Schunk and Adrienne Zulkoski. The second half of the show will include various traditional classical variations, a contemporary piece “Cascade” choreographed and staged by Brianna Schunk and “Diana and Actaeon” choreographed by Agrippina Vaganova and staged by Karla Kovatch.
