On Saturday, September 28th, Wilkes University’s AFROTC Detachment 752 will host the Third Annual Kisses to Cancer 5K. This 5K is in honor of Major Candice Adams Ismirle, an alumni of Wilkes University, who passed away from Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2016. Candice proudly served her nation as a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Air Force and was an inspiration to us all. Help continue the fight against Breast Cancer by attending the Kisses to Cancer 5K!
All proceeds of the event go to these following organizations.
Relay for Life: The fight against cancer, specifically the PinkKisses fund in Candice’s name
The Valor Clinic: Supporting homeless Veterans in the NEPA area
Wilkes University Gold Bar Club: Where Candice started her military journey
