The Catalyst is a month-long study abroad program that transforms four European cities—London, Paris, Vienna, and Berlin—into immersive classrooms for students. Since 2012, participants have gained unparalleled hands-on learning from world-class faculty, diving deep into high-impact subjects while exploring each city’s rich history and culture. More than just a summer abroad, The Catalyst challenges students to push beyond their comfort zones, developing critical global skills that employers highly value. Program Director Dr. Doug Mackaman, Professor of History and Culture, will provide Wilkes students with a program overview.
