The Nursing Career Fair on October 28, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the McHale Athletic Center (MAC) is a great opportunity to network with health care providers and ask your questions about nurse internships, externships and scholarships.
In addition to local NEPA hospitals and nursing homes, larger systems like UPMC, LVHN, Geisinger, Wellspan and even the US Air Force seeking nurses to care for Space Force, are coming.
Find out what you can do with your nursing degree, starting from year 1. You can inquire about their per-diem and part-time positions as emergency department technicians, patient-care technicians, or patient companions–great ways for nursing students to gain valuable clinical experience before starting clinical rotations! We will be doing giveaway prizes including a stethoscope and nursing care basket, and $100 and $50 gift cards for uniforms & scrubs! There will be food and beverages as well! Resumes are not required, but if you would like resume assistance, you are welcome at the Center for Career Development and Internships, building rear of the Student Center.
