The Office of Academic Success is hosting an Advising Workshop -Tools and Practices for New Advisors on Tuesday, February 10th at 11:30 am in Conyngham Hall, Room 113.
The workshop is targeted for new faculty advisors; however, it is open to anyone who may want a refresher.
Topics covered include (but are not limited to):
- Overview of Office of Academic Success services
- Early Alert and Early 0.0 procedures
- Working with students placed on academic probation
- Advising tools such as SLATE and Degree Works
- Advising best practices
