AI and WHAT we teach

11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24
BREIS 211

Join us for a discussion focused on adapting our teaching to an environment in which sophisticated generative AI tools are available. This session will consider the possibility of more substantive changes and will focus on the question: “Should the availability of generative AI tools prompt changes to WHAT we are teaching, for example, by shifting our emphasis to different knowledge or skills?”

Four faculty panelists will share their perspectives and then we will open it up for questions and discussion. The goal is to facilitate ongoing conversations about what aspects of our curriculum and learning goals may need to evolve in a world where powerful generative AI systems are widely available.
