Internal Full-time Employment Opportunity – Bonner Leader Program

Wilkes University is pleased to announce an opening for the Bonner Leader Program Coordinator in the Division of Academic Excellence and Student Success. The Bonner Leader Program is a four-year civic engagement and leadership program that blends community service, training, and enrichment to support student leadership and professional growth.

The successful candidate will chair the Bonner Advisory Board, work with Admissions and Marketing Communications on outreach and recruitment, lead weekly educational and reflection sessions, plan service trips and retreats, and provide mentoring and support for up to 40 Bonner Leader students. The coordinator may also assist with other University service initiatives. A bachelor’s degree is required, and the ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience, along with strong communication skills and experience supporting diverse student groups.

Eligibility requirements for internal applicants:

  1. “Meets expectations” or above on the most recent performance evaluation
  2. No disciplinary actions or performance improvement plans within one year from date of application
