Wilkes University is pleased to announce an opening for a Head Coach, Men’s and Women’s Volleyball in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position oversees two NCAA Division III volleyball programs and supports the recruitment, development, and success of student-athletes while ensuring compliance with conference and University standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of program administration, including recruiting and retaining student-athletes, practice and game management, scheduling, academic monitoring, and supervision of assistant coaches. Additional responsibilities include supporting athletic department operations through site management and other assigned duties. A bachelor’s degree is required (master’s preferred), along with three to five years of intercollegiate coaching experience preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of NCAA and conference rules, effective recruiting strategies, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
