Dear Colleagues,
I hope that you are all well and that your semesters are off to a good start. While I know that thinking of the Spring semester already may be an onerous endeavor, I am writing to ask you to consider teaching an Honors course or adding an Honors (&H) section to your already-scheduled Spring 2023 courses. Creating an Honors course or Honors section is not difficult and it provides our Honors students with opportunities to enhance their academic experience with assignments and participation which deepen the rigor of their courses.
As a reminder, with the new Honors compensation system in place you will receive a $100 stipend for each student in your &H sections (with a limit of 5 students per &H section). You are also entitled to a single $250 stipend for a new Honors-only or &H course that you develop.
