You are invited to a Community Forum on October 26th (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM) focused on literacy.
The event is being hosted by the Wilkes University College of Health and Education, and it is an opportunity for students and faculty to hear about the current state of literacy while also recognizing the commendable work that is being done locally and globally to eradicate illiteracy.
Eleven gifted speakers will discuss the impact of illiteracy on the well-being of students and adults. Current research on best practices that can assist individuals and organizations support struggling readers will also be discussed.
An invitation can be found at the link below. Students and faculty members do need to register, but that can be done within minutes by cutting and pasting the link below to any web browser.
