Registration is now open for the APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders. This program, offered annually at the University of Utah, is a four day intensive on substance use disorder. This conference, primarily attended by student pharmacists going into the P2 or P3 years, provides information on the science behind and approach to addiction. People who have attended this conference in the past often refer to it as “powerful” or “eye opening” and “life changing.” If you have any interest in substance use disorder, or have been impacted by this disease in any way it is strongly recommended that you attend the Institute.
The Institute will run from May 31-June 3rd this year at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Reach out to Dr. Franko for more information; a presentation on the Institute by students who previously attended it will be forthcoming as well. Registration is directly with APhA and is on a first-come first-serve basis. You can learn more about the Institute HERE
