Please join us for Wilkes University Theatre auditions for two fall productions. Auditions are open to all Wilkes students!
Violet the Musical
We will hold auditions for Violet the Musical starting at 6:30 pm. on Monday, Aug. 30. A sign up sheet will be posted in the first floor lobby of the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center on Monday morning. You will need 16 bars of a contemporary musical for the audition.

Androcles and the Lion
We will hold auditions for the non-musical Androcles and the Lion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, in the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts. Please arrive at 6:30 p.m.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the following pages:
- p. 111-113 | Androcles, Megaera
- p. 114-115 | Androcles, Lion
- p. 116-119 | Centurion, Lavinia, Captain
- p. 125-127 | Ferrovius, Lentellus, Centurion, Androcles
- p. 128-129 | Lavinia, Spintho, Ferrovius, Androcles
- p. 137-139 | Caesar, Lavinia, Androcles, Ferrovius
The style will allow women to play men’s roles. Scripts are available in the theatre office, first floor of the DDD.
