APhA’s Operation Heart will be participating in a blood pressure screening and patient education at Cook’s Pharmacy on Wednesday 9/22 from 8am-12pm. We are looking for volunteers to help out and this will count as patient care SD-IPPE hours!
The sign-up slots are each one hour only, but feel free to sign up for multiple if you’d like. Also, there is one slot for a person to take blood pressure and one for a person to present a poster with information regarding aspirin and cardiovascular health. This is to allow those who may not be trained in taking blood pressures to participate, but both participants will be eligible for the patient care hours and both may take patients’ blood pressure if trained.
