Business Ethics Forum Scheduled for Oct. 6

Wilkes University Sidhu School of Business and Leadership is proud to announce its inaugural Business Ethics Forum. The forum, titled “Business Ethics: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6, in the Henry Student Center Ballroom on the second floor, and via Zoom.

The entire campus community is invited to participate as panelists explore ethics applications in business and in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions.  

Panelists, who will join via Zoom videoconferencing, are:

  • Reid Blackman, founder and CEO of Virtue, a consulting firm that helps companies integrate ethics and ethical risk mitigation particularly in the area of emerging technology products and artificial intelligence;
  • Ellen Hunt, consultant and advisor at Spark Compliance Consulting, an attorney and nationally recognized specialist in ethics and compliance;
  • Ken Wilcox, an innovative banker with experience in both the United States and Shanghai, emeritus chairman of Silicon Valley Bank, and author of Leading Through Culture.

The Business Ethics Forum is made possible by an anonymous gift to Wilkes University.

No registration is required. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to join the event in person in the ballroom.
