On Oct. 1, the United States Postal Service made changes that will further increase the delivery time of mail. With these changes and the approaching holidays, employees can expect even more delays for things like letters, packages, bills and paychecks that are mailed to the home.
To ensure timely deposit of paychecks, the Payroll Department encourages direct deposit. Sign up for direct deposit by completing and returning the direct deposit authorization and including a voided check. A letter or a form authorized by the banking institution, which clearly indicates the routing number and account number, is also acceptable.
