The blood drive held on Nov. 8, collected 39 pints of blood that can assist up to 117 patients in need.
In 2021, Wilkes University has collected 125 units of blood. In the past decade, Wilkes donated 1755 units of blood that have assisted thousands of hospitals and patients.
These efforts have helped boost the community blood supply and ensure patients have lifesaving blood they depend on, especially during this continued emergency need for blood products.
We could not do this without the selfless donations of our students, staff and faculty.
