The dean of the School of Education and chair of the Doctoral Department announce the defense of the dissertation titled “A Phenomenological Case Study to Investigate Factors that Encourage First-Generation Students Persist Past their First Year” by doctoral candidate Laura A. Zajaczkowski-Shumlas.
The presentation portion of the defense will be open to observers and students from the School of Education, University faculty and those invited by the candidate. It will be held remotely at noon (EST) on Friday, Dec. 10.
