Debbie Scheibler, EdD, has received prestigious and well-deserved recognition for her dissertation, “Home Sweet Home: A phenomenological case study exploring the lived experiences of residential students in curricular environments.”
She was awarded the Dissertation of the Year Award from the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International. The organization of more than 17,000 members and 950 institutional members is a significant presence in the higher education and student affairs spaces.
Scheibler, who served as director of residence life on campus from 2017 to 2020, graduated from the Wilkes EdD program in 2021.
