| I am both happy and sad to announce that Dr. Steven Kheloussi will be starting a new leadership position at Highmark. We are very happy for him in this exciting new chapter of his life. We are also sad that he is leaving as a full time faculty. It’s difficult to put into words how much Steve has contributed to our students, faculty, school, and university. We are so grateful for his dedication, mentorship, leadership and friendship. He will always be part of our pharmily. Dr. Kheloussi will continue to serve as an adjunct faculty and will oversee Highmark pharmacist preceptors for Wilkes IPPE and APPE students. We currently have a position posted for a new faculty with a focus on managed care as many of our students have an interest in this field largely due to Dr. Kheloussi’s mentorship.
