– Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information to process prescriptions
– Assists the pharmacists in performing technical duties related to the distribution of drugs to
patients.
– Monitors medication inventory levels and places orders to restock.
– Develops strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
– Supports pharmacological services by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level,
placing and expediting orders, reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels,
calculating quantities, compounding sterile and non-sterile products, and other pharmaceutical
therapies.
