Join the Division of Global Cultures: History, Languages & Philosophy in celebrating the publication of Dr. Akira Shimizu’s book, Specialty Food, Market Culture, and Daily Life in Early Modern Japan: Regulating and Deregulating the Market in Edo, 1780-1870. Shimizu is an associate professor of history in the Division of Global Cultures.
The event will take place at 4 pm on Friday, April 1, in the Salon on the first floor of Kirby Hall.
