The Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) has an opportunity for Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy’s students that are interested in industry roles! The ACMA National Student Chapter is one national executive board consisting of 5 PharmD candidates from multiple pharmacy schools. The application portal closes April 8th. I have listed the details of the chapter below that you can share with your students.
What is the National Student Chapter?
As a student member of the ACMA National Student Chapter, you will gain exposure to the inner workings of Medical Affairs operations, learn valuable leadership and management skills through industry-applicable projects, and receive endless opportunities to network with industry professionals.
There are 5 positions available, each tailored to one specific function within a successful medical affairs team. In this model, each pharmacy student will gain insight into the interpersonal leadership skills required in pharma.
What do I need to apply?
1. A current and updated CV or resume
2. A statement of purpose containing goals for the applied position
3. A statement of interest containing career goals and expected professional gains to be achieved by fulfilling the tasks and duties of the applied position
4. A GPA of 3.0 and above
*applicants must be a P2 or P3 during the 2022-2023 academic calendar year
