The Campus Vote Project will be onboarding up to 40 Democracy Fellows in Pennsylvania for fall 2022.
What is a Democracy Fellow? Democracy Fellows are current students who work an average of 10 hours/week. Upon completion of the program, they will receive $500 for the first semester and $700 each semester thereafter.
Fellows work to remove barriers to voting and educate their peers on election law, what’s on the ballot and general democracy work while networking and building relationships in a statewide and national cohort of hundreds of student leaders and graduates.
We work with CVP’s parent organization, Fair Elections Center, and our lawyers to provide the most up-to-date election law materials and equip fellows with the tools and resources necessary for success on their campus and beyond. Details and application here.
Democracy Fellows will work directly with the Civic Engagement Office to provide important election information.
