PA State Police to Host Women’s Career Expo on Sept. 24

The Pennsylvania State Police is hosting its first-ever Women’s Career Expo Saturday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in honor of the 50thAnniversary of the first females that joined the Pennsylvania State Police.

Those who attend will be working out with Troopers and swimming in the training tank.  This gives potential applicants an idea of a day in the life of a cadet at the Academy.  Following the workout, will be a static display to showcase some specialty positions including helicopter pilot, Special Emergency Response Team “SWAT”,  mounted unit and K9 to name a few.

We ask those who wish to attend RSVP to Cpl. Danea Durham at ddurham@pa.gov Cell: 717-614-7933 by Friday, Sept. 16, 2022.

Lunch will be provided at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy.

If you have any questions related to careers with the PA State Police, please contact carol.bosack@wilkes.edu at the Center for Career Development & Internships to be connected with our campus’ PSP recruiter.
