More Helpful Staff & Faculty Application Reminders:
- All staff/faculty must submit a Wilkes Exchange Application (linked above) to Human Resources for each academic year your student will be attending school. We encourage you to complete the HR application by October of each year for the following academic year. For academic year 2023-2024, we recommend submitting the Wilkes application by October 10, 2022 for best processing.
- Wilkes (as the employer) is considered your student’s export school; the school(s) your student is applying to or attending is considered the import school.
- If your student is not currently receiving exchange or is looking to transfer to another school:
You must complete a TE EZ and/or a CIC Exchange application(s). This is in addition to Wilkes’ internal exchange application. We recommend submitting the TE/CIC applications prior to the export school(s) deadlines.
Verify whether the school(s) in which your student is applying to are participants of TE and/or CIC exchange. If they are participants of both, complete both applications for another opportunity to receive exchange.
- If your student is currently receiving exchange at their school, and is not looking to transfer:
- Do not complete a TE or CIC application. This can affect the process and their current qualifying exchange at the import school. Only complete the Wilkes Application each year.
- Stay connected with the import school’s liaison for their renewal process and eligibility.
If the above application(s) are successfully submitted, Wilkes will approve all students of eligible staff/faculty as an export; however, receiving exchange is not guaranteed as decisions are made by the import school. Import schools may have their own deadlines for consideration and eligibility requirements for the TE/CIC application, admissions, returning students, and/or filing the FAFSA; please connect with the import school’s exchange liaison for details.
