PCCE Community of Practice (CoP) Leadership across boundaries

Join Wilkes’ Civic Engagement Coordinator (Megan Valkenburg) and Dickinson’s Director of Community Engagement (Laura Megivern) in exploring leadership across boundaries.

Communities of Practice are set to launch in Spring 2023!

PCCE is pleased to offer you two Communities of Practices this spring led by civic campus leaders across New York and Pennsylvania. Each of them offer varying topics and are scheduled based upon their availability. Application deadline is November 28. Priority will be given to participants from NY & PA.

What is a Community of Practice (CoP)?

It is a learning community, or collegial network, defined as “a group of people who share interest in an area of inquiry and engage in collective learning about that issue as it relates to their work or practice. Through discussions, joint activities, and relationship building, the community of practice develops a shared and individual repertoire of resources, skills, and knowledge to use in their practice.” (MN Campus Compact) CoPs typically consist of 8-12 participants and 2 co-facilitators.
