The Wilkes-Barre Health Department will offer a COVID-19 booster and flu shot clinic in the McHale Athletic Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, offering COVID-19 boosters (bivalent Moderna) and flu shots.
Appointments are required. Sign up online.
For the booster, please bring your vaccination card, photo ID and a completed copy of the attached form.
You are considered qualified for a booster dose if you are over 18 years of age and have completed your primary vaccination series or received a booster dose at least two months ago. As a reminder, individuals may receive any approved COVID-19 vaccine as their booster dose. It does not need to be the same vaccine manufacturer administered as part of your primary series.
Approximately 100 appointments have been reserved for Wilkes students, faculty and staff. Family members or the general public are welcome to call the Wilkes-Barre Health Department for appointment availability: 570-208-4268.
