The Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning (OTTL) still needs participants for its on-campus student focus group! If you take your classes primarily on campus, consider helping us out by participating in a one hour focus group about your impressions of technology and and how it’s used in teaching at Wilkes. While you may not have ever interacted with our office, we are very interested in hearing your thoughts on things related to technology and teaching using LIVE/D2L, Panopto and other ed tech applications. Some examples of topics to be explored in the focus groups include:
- How do you wish technology was utilized in your classes?
- What activities help you learn best?
- What technology do you wish faculty would use in class to help you learn more or better?
Information gathered will help to inform the creation of goals and strategies for the department’s next strategic plan. This is an exclusive opportunity to provide valuable feedback related to technology in the teaching and learning process.
The session will be held via Zoom so you can participate from anywhere and will be held as follows:
- Friday, March 24 @ 12pm
The session will be limited to 10 participants so register quickly if you want to participate! Zoom details will be sent to those who register no later than the morning of the session day. Register here: https://forms.gle/s21akt2eu99eCi7v8
Students who attend a session in full will be entered into a random drawing for a prize from the campus bookstore valued up to $50.
