Teaching with Technology Wednesdays 2023 Week Three: June 28th – What’s on Tap?

It’s not too late to join in on the Teaching with Technology Wednesdays activities!

Week three starts at 9am with two twenty-five minute sessions: “Panopto’s Capture – Ideal for Student Video Assignments” and “The New Easier Video Assignment Creation Process”, both by Joseph Nalbone. The browser based recorder is ideal for students and the new video assignment creation process simpler for both instructors and students. Next at 10am is a full session on “Get Your Time Back! Shortcuts, Tips and Tricks for Using D2L” by Jason Wagner. There is often an easier way to do things and D2L is no different. Jason will pull together tips from the OTTL team’s 12 years of supporting D2L. Finally, at 11am we have “Avoiding Plagiarism by Design” by Chad Stanley. Chad’s session will focus on how to approach, design, and teach writing in ways that reduces student plagiarism. He will also consider the influence of the new artificial intelligence tools in the process of teaching writing. All sessions are hosted in Zoom for this Wednesday. Come check it out from wherever you are!
