Wilkes University sponsors a team for the Riverfront Parks Committee Dragon Boat races. We are the two-time returning champions and we’re looking for 20 paddlers to join this year’s team. The team commitment is Aug 12-13th. Aug 12th for a 9am practice session at Nesbitt Park (an hour total) and August 13th from 8am-1:30pm. No experience is needed except in having fun, hanging out eating great snacks between races, and willingness to sync up with others in a skinny boat to paddle the Susquehanna.
