The Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning is hosting sessions for new instructors, both full-time and adjuncts. If you are new to teaching at Wilkes, one of these sessions is for you! Or, if you have someone who will be joining as a new instructor this fall, please forward this information to them. The Bootcamp will be a hands-on workshop diving into helping faculty build their courses for the fall. The Adjunct Orientations will provide broad overviews to the various technology tools and systems for teaching, how to access on-demand training, and other available supports/resources. Offerings are as follows:
- New Faculty Bootcamp: Getting Started with D2L and Panopto: August 18, 9AM-12PM, on campus in Breiseth Hall rm 105
- On-campus Adjunct Orientation for Face-to-Face Instructors – August 16 at 6PM, on campus in Breiseth Hall rm 105
- Online Adjunct Orientation for Online Instructors – August 17 at 6PM via Zoom
