President Cant invites faculty and staff to attend Fall Convocation on Wednesday, August 23, in the theatre of the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts. A continental breakfast will be available beginning at 8 a.m. on the lawn of the Darte (or upper lobby in the case of rain), with the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. The 2022-2023 President’s Awards for Excellence will kick-off the program and be followed by remarks from University leaders and a question and answer session.

New this year – help us fill the Colonel’s Cupboard with non-perishable food, personal care and household items by bringing a donation to Convocation. Volunteers will collect items in the lobby of the Darte Center beginning at 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 23. In-demand items include shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent/pods, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, ramen, canned chicken, rice and individual snack items. They are well-stocked with canned vegetables, soups and pasta. Can’t attend Convocation but want to make a donation? Drop it off at the Colonel’s Cupboard, located in the Center for Career Development and Internships.
