We are thrilled to announce some exciting changes coming to your campus dining experience this fall. As part of our commitment to continuously enhance your dining options and improve convenience, we will be transitioning from Dining Sidekick to GrubHub as our primary platform for food ordering and pick-up services on campus.
GrubHub is a widely recognized and trusted platform that will offer you a seamless and user-friendly experience for all your dining needs. With its intuitive interface and robust features, GrubHub will provide you with a more extensive selection of off-site participating restaurants, enhanced on-campus menu options, real-time order tracking and reliable on-campus pick-up services, all accessible through a single, convenient app!
We believe this transition to GrubHub will significantly elevate your dining experience through some key benefits including:
- Expanded Choices: GrubHub partners with a broader range of off-campus restaurants, giving you a wider selection of dining options from one app to satisfy your cravings.
- Seamless Ordering Process: With the GrubHub app, you can easily browse menus, customize your orders and complete transactions in just a few simple taps. It provides an intuitive and streamlined ordering experience for your convenience.
- Real-Time Order Tracking: Stay updated on the status of your orders with real-time tracking. You’ll receive notifications throughout the process, allowing you to plan your time accordingly.
- Reliable Services: GrubHub ensures timely and efficient production of your food orders, providing you with a hassle-free on-campus dining experience.
- FREE to use: Similar to Dining Sidekick, Wilkes Dining has partnered with GrubHub to ensure that no costs or fees are passed on to you when using the GrubHub mobile ordering app on campus. All of our students, faculty and staff can continue to enjoy the same robust, unrestricted mobile ordering access at all participating on-campus dining locations, including: B+F, WhichWich, Greens to Go and Starbucks.
Secondly, late-night dining is also getting an upgrade! Beginning on Thursday, Aug. 24 we’re moving the late-night dining service from Henry’s Dining Hall to Burgers + Fries, allowing you to enjoy your favorite meals and late-night bites at a more convenient location. Burgers + Fries will offer the FULL menu you love through GrubHub Mobile, ensuring you have a wide range of delicious options to choose from all night long.
We also understand the importance of flexibility, so the cash equivalency option you’ve come to rely on will still be available, ensuring you can make the most of your dining experience and meal plan.
