The University Staff Advisory Committee is excited to announce the return of the annual staff retreat. In years past, staff have come together around Convocation to discuss important issues, learn from each other and develop our skills in a dedicated retreat session.
This year, USAC will host a staff retreat on Tuesday, Aug. 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the McHale Athletic Center. All staff are invited and welcome to attend.
Our focus will be on the recently endorsed strategic plan and how the Wilkes community may work together to implement the strategies and tactics to achieve the greater goals of the plan. Co-chairs of the Strategic & Long-Range Planning Committee (SLRPC), Tom Hamill and Jeanne Rabel will lead us in an exploration of the new plan before breaking participants into group discussions. Themes and feedback discussed by the staff on the implementation of the plan at the retreat will be shared with the Strategic & Long-Range Planning Committee via USAC representative. Boxed lunches will be served.
To ensure an accurate count for the retreat, please make sure to RSVP by Tuesday, Aug. 22.
