Wilkes University Archives is starting off the semester with a bang as we have our first blog post of the academic year written by Jessica Van Orden, a Senior English Literature Major and Graduate student of the Maslow Family Program in Creative Writing, highlighting items from the Financial manuscripts and ephemera series of the Gilbert Stuart McClintock collection. This collection contains financial manuscripts, accounting ledgers, permits, and contracts that document the complex business history of the Wyoming Valley as well as historical currency from the United States, Austria, Russian, and France.
