This Thursday November 9th, come out to the Wilkes Veterans Council Memorial Ceremony for Veterans Day. At 11am on the Greenway at the Memorial Court Flagpoles, we will be proudly remembering and honoring the veterans of the United States Armed Forces The event will be hosted by Wilkes Veterans Council and partnered with the Wilkes ROTC detachment. If you know any members of your family that are veterans that would like to attend, please invite them. To those attending, we will have a few short speeches and words spoken by Wilkes students and alumni as well as a presentation of the United States Colors by the Airforce ROTC Color Guard. Refreshments of coffee and donuts will be available before the ceremony begins promptly at 11am.
