OTTL Offering D2L Deep Dive: Demystifying Dates in LIVE

Do you know the difference between Start Dates, End Dates and Due dates in LIVE? Setting dates in LIVE and knowing the best practices for using them can ensure that your students are able to view and access content, discussions, and quizzes as well as the deadlines from submitting assignments.

During this session instructors will learn how to:

  • Set Dates and Restricting Availability
  • Best Practices for dates in Assignments, Quizzes, Discussion, Modules, and Topics
  • Add, change or remove individual dates
  • Bulk edit dates
  • Offset dates to roll dates forward for a new semester
  • Modify calendar event visibility
  • View the calendar from a student’s perspective

If you would like to learn how easy it is to modify dates, please join us for a D2L Deep Dive: Demystifying Dates in LIVE.

This is the eighth in a series of D2L training events, each focusing on one tool in D2L, offered by the Office of Technology for Teaching & Learning.
