  • Students

If you’re a first-generation student in your second year of study, you can get a $20 Amazon gift card for your participation in a 45-minute virtual interview.

Rachael Talpash, an alumna of Wilkes University and an assistant professor of psychology at Luzerne County Community College, is currently in the process of completing the Doctor of Education program through Northeastern University.

Talpash’s dissertation aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the potential challenges faced by first-year, first-generation college students, as well as their mental wellness needs and views on campus resources.

If interested in participating, you will be engaged in a virtual interview lasting approximately 45 minutes. For your participation, you will receive a $20 Amazon.com gift certificate.

If you would like to take part in the study or have any questions regarding the research, please email talpash.r@northeastern.edu by Saturday, Feb. 17.

Thank you!
