Today is the day!
The Wilkes Women’s Lacrosse team will hold a benefit game on April 10 for the Julia Hockey Mazur Foundation. The Foundation was created in memory of Julia Hockey Mazur, a Wilkes University student who passed away in November 2023 during a battle with cancer.
Julia was a business major and communication studies minor.
In conjunction with the benefit game, the women’s lacrosse team is also selling butterfly T-shirts. Proceeds benefit the foundation. Shirts can be purchased through the link below.
Wednesday, April 10 is the last day to purchase the shirts!
The lacrosse game begins at 6 p.m. today and is against Lycoming College. The foundation and team are working with Zebra Communications, Wilkes’ student-run PR agency within the Communication Studies Department.
