The McClintock Art and Prints collection is digitized and processed

Wilkes University Archives is excited to announce that thanks to Paige Edwards, a Senior Digital Design and Media Art Major and Fine Art Minor and Jessica Van Orden, a Graduate student in the Creative Writing Program, the Art and Print series of the Gilbert Stuart McClintock collection is now processed and digitized.
Paige is a local artist and board member of the Street Art Society of NEPA, an organization that helps bring murals to Northeastern Pennsylvania. She plans to continue creating murals and eventually work as a concept and illustration artist.
Jessica is an alumna of the English Literature department and graduate student of the Maslow Creative Writing Graduate program. Jessica aims to one day work within the public library sector as a community outreach coordinator.
The finding aid for this collection consists of 368 pages of item level descriptions on original artwork and prints, a majority of which were featured in Gilbert McClintock’s book, “Valley Views of Northeastern Pennsylvania.” The finding aid can be found here.
