19th century ornate photo album on Hannover Germany is now processed and digitized

Wilkes University Archives is excited to announce that thanks to Anthony Elms, a Sophomore History major with minors in Studio Art and Womens and Gender Studies, the 19th century photo album is now processed and digitized. Anthony’s professional interests lie in museums with his end-goal to become a Curator of art history or socio-cultural history, or to be more specific, to one day work at the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum. This 19th century photo album was donated to Wilkes by Senator Andrew J Sordoni and contains thirty-two photographs of various locations and structures within the kingdom of Hannover in the mid-to late 19th century.

The finding aid can be found here.
