I am looking to start a club that will be titled, tentatively “Wilkes Film Society.” The purpose of the club will be to host monthly themed screenings of films, as well as host events throughout the year to support arts and culture in the city of Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas. At this point I am looking to gauge general interest in such a club before drafting a constitution and bringing before Student Government for consideration.
