Check Out the Summer Construction Projects on Campus

The facilities team will be working on some construction projects this summer that may impact members of the campus community.

Please see the list below so you can make any necessary adjustments to your regular routine. As always, be sure to use caution around active construction areas.

University Towers

Exterior repairs and sealing work will begin on Monday, June 17, and continue into the fall as weather permits. Portions of the sidewalk may be closed at times and some barriers, nets and platforms may be used.

Roof replacement will be scheduled from Monday, July 8, through Friday, Aug. 9. A large crane and other equipment will be used to remove items from the roof and lift materials onto the roof. As a result, the University Towers parking lot will be closed from Monday, July 8, through Friday, Aug. 9. Some areas around the building will also be closed as needed.

Marts Center

The auxiliary roof replacement is in progress and the parking lot south of the building has been closed. The project is scheduled to be completed on Friday, July 5.

Evans Hall

Roof replacement is scheduled for Monday, July 8, through Friday, Aug. 9, weather permitting. During this time, the area between Evans Hall and Roth Hall will be closed.

Conyngham Hall

Window replacement is scheduled for Monday, July 29, through Thursday, Aug. 15. Facilities will need access to all rooms with windows. Please remove any personal items from the window areas so work can be completed.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
