Fulbright in Iceland

If you’re thinking of going global to jumpstart your career, consider studying, researching or teaching English abroad with the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Grants are available to outstanding seniors, graduate students (master’s or doctoral), and recent Wilkes alumni. The campus deadline for your application is September 1, 2024, for placement during the Fall of 2025.

This Week’s Award Spotlight: ICELAND: The Fulbright/Icelandic Ministry Of Culture Award provides funding for a two-year program in modern Icelandic at the University of Iceland. Students must have prior knowledge of Icelandic according to the requirements for BA study in Icelandic as a second language. Advanced students may test out of the first year of the program, and students who wish to continue the program after their first year can apply directly to the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies for additional funding.
