The Commission on Economic Opportunity is administering a utility assistance program on behalf of Luzerne County titled the Luzerne County ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) Heating & Utility Assistance Program.
Luzerne County residents MAY BE eligible for a one-time direct disbursement of $290 to their heating or cooling-related utility provider. Homeowners or renters do not have to be past due on their bills to apply.
