University Towers Project and Lot Closure Updates

As the University Towers brick and sealing project continues on the east side of the building, workers may repel from the roof and use a large lift at times.

In addition, the removal of the existing University Towers roof started on Monday, July 29. A large crane will be used to raise and lower items. Work will begin early in the morning and may continue for long hours to complete the project.

No one should park in the lot behind the University Towers building at this time.

At this point in the project, the restricted areas will change on a regular basis. This will include the entrances to the building.

For safety reasons, please DO NOT walk through areas that have caution tape. This may require you to walk to another entrance at times.

The parking lot entrance to SHINE will be closed, but the South and Main Street entrances to SHINE, Institutional Research and Human Resources will remain open.

Emergency exits will remain open throughout the project.

As always, be sure to use caution around this site and all active construction areas and stay alert to changing conditions.
