The Fulbright Commission in Malaysia has issued a call for scholars in all disciplines to apply to the 2025-26 Fulbright Scholar Program. If you can see yourself teaching or conducting research in one of the most biodiverse and multicultural places on the planet, consider applying to this unique country. Malaysia offers ancient rainforests, tropical beaches, futuristic cities, and a culture known for its hospitality. Grants are available to artists, mid-career academics, senior academics, and professionals for teaching, research, or professional projects. No language proficiency besides English is required, and PhD (or other terminal degree) is not necessarily required. Choose your grant length: 3 months, 5 months, or 10 months. As conditions allow, Fulbright Scholars in the East Asia and Pacific (EAP) region may have the opportunity to apply for funds to support short-term (3-14 days) travel to other countries in the EAP region for activities such as lectures, workshops. If interested, see the Malaysia grant details here and click the Apply tab to begin. Applications are due September 16, 2024.
