Hey Colonels!
Mark your calendars for two Wilkes traditions taking place this Thursday – the Colonel Kick-off and President Cant’s Sausage Sizzle. We know this is a busy week, but we hope to see you there to celebrate our community and the start of the 2024-2025 athletic season.
The Colonel Kick-off starts at 11:30 a.m. and runs until noon. Join us at the flagpoles on the Greenway for a t-shirt giveaway, performances by student groups and the parade of athletes.
Afterwards, head to the Weckesser parking lot from noon to 1 p.m. for the 4th Annual Sausage Sizzle, a beloved Australian tradition that’s been brought to Wilkes by President and Mrs. Cant. Have a snagger on a sanger with your mates! (Translation: have a sandwich with your friends.)
